A pure spy build is very slow, it take ages to get the money together from steals to buy land and guilds, therefore if you plant to make an OSF you should be attack or Hansel build until the conversion (Hansel is great if there are friendly OSF around for you). You need to get as much land before you convert, I would suggest 15 is the minimum, sell your allies, then build as many level 3 guilds as you can – try and save up so when you convert you can get at least 10 in one go.

The longer you leave it before conversion the better OSF you will create. When you have completed the conversion you should sell any defensive pots so that when you open you don’t defend the attack. I would recommend you also have no allies because if an ally is bought you are opened without you being in control. You need to save money by buying attack or spy attack pots. You should also have a good stock of small 1250 spy defences pots as these will be the ones you sell to open the farm.
